A snow ordinance is in effect in Cloquet and Scanlon.
No parking is allowed on the streets from midnight to 6 a.m. Vehicles left overnight can be ticketed or towed. The vehicles create obstacles for plows clearing the large amounts of snow that have blanketed the area recently.
Cloquet Police Department has ticketed 14 vehicles and towed several others in the last week.
