A little patchy fog will be possible this Friday morning before we clear out and finish the day with plenty of sunshine. Winds will stay light Friday and with afternoon temperatures closing in on 40 degrees will make for a very pleasant afternoon and evening. Temperatures cool into the lower 20s tonight with highs tomorrow again warming to near 40 degrees. Winds will be out of the north around 5-10 mph Saturday with winds increasing Saturday night. It is looking a little gusty through Sunday. I'm seeing more cloud cover for the region Saturday with clouds decreasing throughout the day Sunday. Most of next week will warm into the 30s with a chance of rain and snow in the region around Thursday/Friday.

I grew up in Minnesota and my love of the outdoors lead me on a path to becoming in meteorologist. I got my Bachelor of Science in meteorology at St. Cloud State University. I started out my career as a TV meteorologist in Bismarck at KX News in 2010. I left Bismarck for Fargo in the fall of 2015 where I've been since working for WDAY as well as The Forum.
