The shorelines will stay cool Saturday, as highs could stay in the 50s and 60s. Not too far away, however, the weather will be warmer, but still breezy for all in the Northland. Watch for a few thunderstorms Sunday. We will stay breezy again Sunday, but it will be warmer. Highs will reach into the mid-70s in Duluth. If you are going to be west of Duluth, temperatures will be much warmer with highs nearing 100 degrees in the Brainerd Lakes Area on Father's Day.
Hot weather to our west this weekend
We'll experience an interesting weekend with high temperatures getting into the 90s about 60 miles to our west compared to our 70s in Duluth Sunday afternoon.


Expect plenty of sunshine Saturday with very light winds all day.
Hail forms in the updraft region of a strong thunderstorm.
Expect a dry and sunny day ahead with highs reaching into the mid-70s.
Often times during our most humid weather; the fronts, lows, and other dynamics of the atmosphere are weak.
