The call claimed six children at a Rochester school had been shot by a man with body armor and an AK-47
William Henrichs, 66, of St. Cloud, was rescued from Rice Lake by another man with a pontoon after Henrichs' boat capsized Monday afternoon on Rice Lake. According to the release, "he was cold but otherwise uninjured."
Schools across the country have experienced false calls regarding active shooters in recent weeks, prompting law enforcement to investigate the matter. In Minnesota, 15 schools, from Rochester to Cloquet received hoax calls this week.
Someone called county dispatchers to report a gunman at Cloquet High School, but when police arrived, they "found no issues."
