LETTERS TO THE EDITOR

Letters to the editor are a form of public dialogue, a true marketplace of ideas, where people of diverse viewpoints bump into each other as they plead their case. There's never been a time when letters to the editor were more important.
Feeling pretty strongly about the latest hot topic buzzing the community? Before you fire off that letter to the editor, there are a few things that can be considered.
It seems that too often, readers mistake news as opinion. In some cases, readers believe a newspaper’s simple decision to pursue and publish certain stories is opinion disguised as news.
The PLA does not restrict any contractors, union or non-union. They are all allowed to bid and work on these projects.
