Virtual Moose Run begins Saturday

The organizers of the annual Moose Run in Moose Lake have made the 2021 race virtual.

The 2020 race was canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic and with some restrictions still in place, this year competitors can complete a 5K or 10K race anytime May 1-9.

Registration is $20 and participants will receive a gift card to a local business of their choice in Moose Lake or Barnum. Register online and view a list of participating businesses at .

Mail-in registration forms are available at the Moose Lake Public Library, Moose Lake Visitor Center or at Lake Area Therapy Services inside the Gateway Family Health Clinic in Moose Lake.

Participants are encouraged to post a photo of themselves during the race to the Moose Run Facebook page.
