Tryouts for a Cloquet/Esko Little League District team will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 13, at Braun Park, Cloquet. Be ready to play ball - wear your team uniform, spikes and hat.
Requirements include: Players must be born after May 1, 1998, attend Cloquet or Esko schools, live in the district, provide three proofs of residency, and be free to play all games. If the district team makes it to state, you will not be able to continue playing with your in-house team.
Teams will be picked by three Esko and three Cloquet coaches. Tournaments will be held the week of July 11-17. You will receive a call Monday after 6 p.m. if you made the team; do not call the coaches.
The first team meeting for parents and players will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, at the Braun Park office. The meeting is mandatory.
