St. Cloud State honors Cloquet graduate

Cloquet graduate Kassidy Steen received a 2020 Excellence in Leadership award from St. Cloud State University.

After graduating from Cloquet in 2016, Steen played four seasons for SCSU and had a big role in the Huskies' success down the stretch, appearing in 20 games during her senior season. She scored 37 points and added 32 rebounds, nine assists, five blocks and a steal in 2019-20.

She was named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate conference Elite 18 Award winner for the second consecutive season as the student-athlete with the highest GPA competing at the NSIC Championship finals site and was an NSIC Myles Brand Award winner in 2019-20.

An Academic All-NSIC award winner during her career at SCSU, Steen played in 62 games and scored 112 points at SCSU.
