This season's stats: Hrabik won two races at Hermantown and Pine Valley and set a new personal record with a time of 20 minutes, 51 seconds in a meet Friday, Oct. 9 at Duluth East.

What college or professional athlete inspires you and why?

Carrie Tollefson is an Olympic middle distance runner who inspires me. She is from Dawson, Minnesota, which is a small town similar to Esko. I think it's cool to have someone to look up to who came from a similar background. She also grew up in the first generation where female athletes had the same rights as their male counterparts.

What is one of your most memorable moments as an athlete?

Some of my favorite memories were made at FAT (fitness and athletic training) camp with my cross-country team. We go to the group campsite at McCarthy Beach State Park (in Side Lake, Minnesota) and stay for three days where we run and bond as a team.

What is your favorite activity/hobby outside of sports and why?

I enjoy fishing, hiking, skiing, kayaking and scuba diving. I like being outside, and I'm grateful to live in a place that has so many outdoor opportunities.

What is your dream job and why?

My dream job is to work in ecotourism because I think it's important to the conservation of the environment, and it's a great way to educate tourists about the destination's natural habitats and local communities.

Describe your dream vacation.

My dream vacation would be scuba diving in the Cayman Islands.
