Prep Alpine skiing: CEC's Regas takes 29th at state meet

BIWABIK — Cloquet-Esko-Carlton's Emily Regas finished 29th overall at the state Alpine ski meet Wednesday, Feb. 16, at Giant's Ridge.

She finished the Innsbruck course in 41.96 seconds and the Helsinki run in 43.43 seconds to finish with a combined time of 1:25.39.

Duluth East's Lauren Carlson took first place with a combined time of 1:18.14.

Regas was the only Carlton County skier to earn a berth to the state meet.
