It's all going down in Barnum. The Eighth Annual Polar League All-Star Basketball Series will again head to Barnum High School Monday night, March 28, as some of the area's top players will show-off their skills in the always-exciting gathering.
One of the Northland's most premiere basketball conferences will feature a girls clash at 6 p.m. followed by a boys tilt at 8 p.m. The festive night includes a number of skills competitions for the players as well. The girls will have a 3-point contest, along with a game of lightning, while boys will also crown a 3-point champ and dunk king.
Players representing their respective schools will compete on both the gold and black teams, and after things are done, they'll get to keep their uniforms. Event organizer Randy Myhre said all 11 Polar League schools will be represented, like every year.
Tickets can be purchased at the door, but expect the stands to be packed and the parking lot to be full Monday night. Barnum will be bringing in the best of the Polar League.
