The Cloquet-Esko-Carlton boys Nordic ski team finished second at the Section 7 Nordic meet Wednesday, March 3, earning them a berth to the state meet Thursday, March 11.
Benjamin Bauer was the team's top finisher, coming in third with a combined time of 21:56.6.
Josh Sanders and Cale Prosen finished back-to-back in 13th and 14th, with times of 23:57.0 and 24:01.6, respectively. Miles Fischer came in 18th with a time of 24:38.9, followed by A.J. Maijala in 19th with a time of 24:55.6. Henry Slater and Jordan Chopskie rounded out the rest of the team with finishes at 27th and 30th, respectively.
Joining them will be Halle Zuck from the CEC girls team, who qualified as an individual with a combined time of 28:11.1.
