Lisa Muehlberger, a sophomore infielder for the Fond du lac Tribal and Community College Thunder softball team, was named Co-Player of the Week in the Northern Division of the Minnesota College Athletic Conference for games played March 21-27, along with Angie Muhvich of Ely, Minn., who plays at Vermilion Community College.

Muehlberger batted 7-for-9 and had four runs batted in games against Hibbing, Vermilion and Itasca. Her batting average was .777 for the week, and she also fielded 15 chances at third base without an error. She is one of three team captains and the first Thunder player to earn this honor during the 2011 season. She also earned Player of the Week honors during the 2010 season.

Muehlberger is a graduate of Duluth Central High School.
