Tomas Bolo, a goalie from Zilina, Slovakia, had 23 saves as the St. Cloud Norsemen handed the Minnesota Wilderness their seventh-straight loss with a 5-0 victory in North American Hockey League action Saturday, Dec. 11, before 453 at the St. Cloud (Minn.) Municipal Athletic Complex.
Sam Duerr, Ryan O’Neill and Nik Hong each had a goal and an assist for the Norsemen, who outscored the Wilderness 10-1 in the two-game series sweep.
Jacob Zacharewicz had 24 saves for Minnesota, which hasn’t won since a 6-0 victory Nov. 20 over the Chippewa Steel.
The Wilderness return home for a three-game series against the Anchorage Wolverines Friday through Sunday Dec. 17-19 at Northwoods Arena in Cloquet.
