Aaron Myers scored 16 seconds into overtime and the Minnesota Wilderness defeated the Chippewa Steel 5-4 on Saturday at Northwoods Credit Union Arena in Cloquet.

The Wilderness led 4-3 midway through the third period but the Steel's Jacob Dirks scored at 10:22 to tie the game.

Myers scored the game-winner on an assist from Kimball Johnson. It was Myers' second goal of the game, and Nate Horn, Tyler Watkins and Jacob Herter scored the Wilderness' other goals. Johnson and Bram Scheerer both had two assists.
