A four-goal second period made the difference as the Janesville Jets defeated the Minnesota Wilderness 5-3 on Sunday at St. Luke's Sports and Events Center in Proctor.

The Wilderness' Tyler Watkins scored the game's first goal but the Jets responded with five-straight goals. Minnesota's Aaron Myers and Bram Scheerer scored third-periods goals but a full comeback never materialized.

The teams played Saturday at the Northwoods Center in Cloquet, with Janesville's Nick Nardella scoring at 1:39 of overtime for a 4-3 victory.

Scheerer, Kimball Johnson and Garrett Worth scored the Wilderness' goals. Watkins had three assists and Worth assisted on Johnson's goal.
