The Lumberjacks will play the Cougars at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Irondale High School in New Brighton.
The Eskomos are set to take on St. Anthony Village in the Class A quarterfinal at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Kuhlman Stadium in Edina.
The 2-1 victory over the Sting clinches the Eskomos' first Class A state tournament appearance since 2011.
The Thunderhawks are making their first appearance in the section final, while the Lumberjacks are gunning for their fourth straight section title.
In Section 7 soccer tournament matches, the top-seeded Grand Rapids girls survived a penalty shootout.
Section tournament play began for local teams in Class AA.
