Esko a young team, but quick with strong team defense; season begins at home against Cloquet Friday, Nov. 22

Team strengths: “Quickness, we will have some depth, good endurance and team defense,” head coach Scott Antonutti said.

Biggest challenge: “We lack size and rebounding is a concern,” Antonutti said.

Coach’s assessment: “I'm optimistic that we can have another solid season,” Antonutti said. “I'm hopeful that we can challenge for conference and section titles, but much of that will come with our team chemistry and development throughout the season; we are going to be young. We will need strong positive leadership from our experienced players.”
