Cromwell-Wright started fast and didn’t look back in a 76-17 home win over Barnum on Monday, Dec. 2.
The Cardinals jumped out to a 45-10 halftime lead and cruised to their first win behind 23 points from senior guard Taya Hakamaki with fellow senior Shaily Hakamaki adding 11 points.
Cromwell-Wright hit 31 field goals in the game and allowed just six by the Bombers.
Freshman Allison Marine led Barnum with six points and senior Makenzee Schleret had five.
With only seven players on the roster, depth is a consistent problem for Barnum. The problem was made worse after injury forced senior Kendal Miletich to watch the game from the bench.
