The Minnesota College Athletic Conference announced it has canceled its fall season for football, volleyball and soccer.

Fall sports will be limited to those sports that are considered low risk: clay target shooting and golf.

In addition, basketball, baseball, softball and wrestling, sports which span the fall and spring semesters, are prohibited during the fall semester.

The MCAC consists of 24 two-year colleges located in Minnesota, North Dakota and Wisconsin, including Lake Superior College in Duluth and Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College in Cloquet.
