Attention cross country skiers, ski jumpers and fans... the City Ski Meet is set for Sunday, March 3, at Cloquet's Pine Valley ski area.
Registration opens at 10 a.m. at the chalet, with the jumping hills opening for practice at the same time. Cost to enter is $2 per jump.
The jumping competition starts at noon. Even if you don't jump, come and watch. It's fun and concessions will be available for purchase.
Classic and skate ski races start at 2 p.m. and will include a kids' mini race along with 2.5K and 5K races for older kids and adults. Cost to enter is $5 for kids cross country, $10 for adults, and cash or check is preferred.
Awards will be presented following the races.
