Lewis Crosby scored at 2:10 over overtime and the Minnesota Wilderness won a high-scoring affair, 7-6, over the Chippewa Steel on Friday at Northwood Credit Union Arena in Cloquet.
The Wilderness scored the game's first three goals but the Steel then scored the next three. Minnesota countered with back-to-back goals for a 5-3 lead and the Steel answered back with two of their own.
The Wilderness' Aaron Myers scored at 9:38 of the third for a 6-5 lead but Chippewa's Isaac Moberg tied it with 10 seconds to play in regulation.
Crosby won it with his 12th goal of the season on an assist from Christian Galatz.
