What college or professional athlete inspires you and why?

The athlete that inspires me the most is probably my brother (Sam Rengo). He runs cross-country for St. John’s now. He inspired me because he was a good role model. He got me to do cross-country, basketball and track. He helped me start all these things, and he always pushes me to be the best I can.

What are your plans after graduation?

After graduation I plan to go to a college for most likely mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering. I still plan on running track and cross-country, and I also want to do something with flight school. I’ve actually already started the steps toward my private pilot’s license. It’s just so fulfilling — it’s the weirdest feeling being in a small plane.

What is your favorite activity/hobby outside of sports and why?

I like being outdoors, canoeing and hanging out with friends. It gives me a break and let’s me enjoy nature and just relax.

What is your dream job and why?

A dream job would be an Alaskan bush pilot. I like flying, I like outdoors and that mixes it all together. I also like to meet new people and hear their stories. That would also bring that all into one job and just give me the ability to go anywhere and explore anything

Describe your dream vacation.
That would be going to Australia, exploring all over the country and scuba diving the Great Barrier Reef.
