What is one of your most memorable moments as an athlete?

Scoring my 1,000th point this year against Hermantown. It was super exciting for me and working hard my whole life. I remember thinking that I wanted to see my name up on the banner on the gym one day and when I finally got it — it didn’t feel real at first, but it felt like a weight lifted off my shoulders.

What are your plans after graduation?

I’m planning to go to Lake Superior College to finish my generals and become a radiology technician.

What is your favorite activity/hobby outside of sports and why?

I’m a very active person, so I’m always looking for something to do, whether that’s rollerblading, hiking or playing sports outside with my friends. I’m always looking for something to do. I have a lot of energy and want to get out there and try new things.

I really want to go to Belize someday because I’ve heard it’s super warm there and there are several fun activities that I want to try — like scuba diving. I’ve never done that and it’s something I really want to try someday. There are also several historical things to tour also when you’re there.

Coach says:

“For three years, she’s averaged over 10 points a game each season,” Esko head coach Scott Antonutti said. “I would say that not just this season, but last season too, she was one of our most consistent scorers. She can score in a variety of ways and I think this year she took the ball off the dribble (and) got to the basket more than in the past … She’s strong with good quickness and a good jumper. She’s one of the more athletic kids we’ve had."
