Proctor’s Connor Bushbaum scored in overtime to lead the Rails to a 2-1 win over Hibbing-Chisholm on Monday at the St. Luke’s Sports and Event Center in Proctor.

Hibbing-Chisholm’s Mitchell Ziemba and Proctor’s Ben Harell scored goals in the first 1:44 of the game but Proctor goalie Sam Johnson and Hibbing-Chisholm’s Vitek Vozdecky were stout the remainder of regulation. Johnson finished with 22 saves and Vozdecky made 25 stops.


Cloquet 78, Barnum 43

Cloquet’s Adam Schneider scored 24 points and Markus Pokornowski added 17 in a home win on Monday.

Barnum’s Blaze Hurst scored 17 points.

Greenway 65, MIB 48

Dylan DeChampeau scored 26 points and Grant Hansen scored 17 to lead Greenway to the victory at home on Monday.

Mountain Iron-Buhl, playing without Asher Zubich, who was ill, was led by Nikolas Jesch’s 25 points.


Cromwell-Wright 98, McGregor 35

Cromwell-Wright’s Taya Hakamaki scored 30 points and Shaily Hakamaki scored in a home win on Monday.

They were among five Cardinals players scoring in double figures. McGregor’s Hailey Maas scored 15 points.

Mesabi East 71, Virginia 49

Ava Hill scored 25 points and Hannah Hannuksela scored 22 as the Giants picked up a road win on Monday.

Virginia’s Rian Aune scored 18 points and Kaylee Iverson added 12.
