The 10th Annual Robert Rodd Memorial Scholarship Costume Hockey Game is Feb. 23 from 1-5 p.m. at the Four Seasons Sports Complex in Carlton. The event features a turkey gravy and Swedish meatball dinner, silent auction and raffle.

Teams consist of Carlton High School alumni and VIPs from the Carlton, Cloquet and Duluth areas. The game starts at 2 p.m. The second period will be glow-in-the-dark with a lighted puck; players must wear a costume in the third period. There will be Chuck-A-Puck and a kids’ shootout in between periods, as well as a “Zamboni Bob” coloring contest for kids age 12 and under.

A social gathering and prize drawings will follow the game.

All proceeds benefit the Robert Rodd Memorial Scholarship Fund. The 2018 event raised $2,800 for the fund. Four $500 scholarships were given to 2018 CHS graduates.
