Prep girls soccer preview: 'Jacks look to score

The Lumberjacks return a lot of "goal-scoring power," according to coach Dustin Randall, as they go after their third straight Section 7A title; first game is at home against St. Francis Thursday, Aug. 26.

New faces to watch: Goalkeeper Katie Olson

Team strengths: "We work very hard as a group to prepare in the spring and summer," coach Dustin Randall said. "We are returning a lot of goal-scoring power."

Biggest challenge: The Lumberjacks lost three of their four backline starters as well as goalie Gracie Meagher, Randall said.

Coach's assessment

"We are excited about the opportunity to carry forward our tradition of hard work and success," Randall said.
