To the Editor:
Thank you to the members and guests who came to our VFW 3979 Burger Night in Cloquet. We offer bars to top off the "Build Your Own" burger. Your generous purchase of bars for your dessert brought in a total of $1,000. Five-hundred was presented to the Ely Veterans on the Lake for disabled veterans, and $500 to the Silver Bay Veterans Home Special Fund. Our project started a year ago, and is one of many fundraisers #3979 does year-long. Burger Night is held the first and third Thursday.
