To the Editor:

It is that time of the year again when the religious bigots slither out from their slimy slough. Could it be that some are not only narcissistic bigots, but are racists as well because of their anti-Semitism? They revolt because The Lord Jesus Christ (as seen by Bible-believing Christians) was born of the Jews.

In Hawaii, for years there has been an annual Christmas concert held at Moanalua High School. The profits of that Christmas concert have gone to bring the joys of Christmas to needy children. In the past six years, these youth have raised over $200,000 for their charity. An atheist had it closed down by the orders of a seemingly amoral and brain-dead judge who doesn't know the law in these cases. (How much did the atheist - and the judge - raise for the needy in that same period of time? The newspaper did not say.)

"Hawaii News Now" reported the bigot by name. Papers should not give ink to such a Scrooge seeking publicity - being elated because they had ruined Christmas giving for thousands on account of their bigotry and lack of tolerance.

It has been said that the atheists complain because they do not have an American holiday to celebrate their nothingness. But, they do. Have there ever been citizens who would not tolerate the atheists' annual commemoration? April 1 has been recognized as such for years. The basis of that designation came from an East Texas judge, according to the newspaper in Texas, "The Palestine Herald," Oct. 15, 2012. (See Bill O'Reilly's book, "Culture Warrior: The War on Christmas.)

God knew all about atheists. His Word records His opinion thousands of years ago in Psalm 14:1. Further Word from Him on this is in Psalm 92:1-6.

Don't let the Grinches dampen your Christmas spirit as you celebrate the birth of The Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God and Savior of all - including the bigots, racists, intolerants and other sundry sinners... including me (John 3:16-18).

It may not be politically correct, but please exercise tolerance. Allow me to close this with: "God Bless! In the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit; Christ is the answer; Jesus loves you - Merry Christmas!"
