To the Editor:

My synopsis after 90 years: Live each day as though it is the last day of your life. One needs water, food and sleep. Do not think or talk negative. Use the barter system when you can. Being a volunteer means you can't get fired. Have faith in your doctor, religion, leader. Make health your No. 1 priority. Love, learn and prosper - in that order - at each opportunity. Try to obey the law. Avoid arguments. Make friends. Stay away from bad habits and do not let politics interfere with your other interests, such as sports, work and fun.

If I had known I was going to live this long, I would have taken better care of myself.

Stop, look and listen and pray each day of your precious life.

Telling it like it is,
