We talk about kids in trouble or on their electronic devices all the time, yet we don’t give them things to do outside. You have decided to not spend the money on a skate park for them in favor of the walking trails. Walking trails are nice but kids prefer to be active or on their skateboards or bikes, which are not allowed on our sidewalks and streets. This gives them fresh air and good exercise. I feel that our children are important and need things to do keeping active and out of trouble. There is much talk about obesity in our children, yet we don’t give them many places to hang out. There are lots of parks for smaller children but none for our older teens.
