Greetings from Carlton Community Education!
I hope you are enjoying our current warm weather, it is beautiful! Lots of opportunity to get outside and soak in the sunshine, which also comes with opportunity for muddy messes but that comes with our spring territory. Either way, I think we can all rejoice in the changing of the seasons for one reason or another.
Carlton Community Education is excited to be offering some classes in the coming months for our community and surrounding communities to enjoy. It is definitely a step in the right direction.
There is an all-day crafting event happening this Saturday, with a few spots still open. It will be a chance to gather with other like-minded, crafty people, with space and time for everyone to work on their own projects.
During a card-making class in April, participants will make gorgeous, handmade cards. They can be shared with your loved ones. The best part about this class is that there is no level of craftiness needed — anyone can do it!

In April and May, those looking for a new hobby or just wanting to hone their bird-watching skills might like to join the virtual birding class, which also may include some local, outdoor hikes to spot some birds.
And lastly, it is super exciting to be partnering with The Green House in Carlton to offer the popular container gardening classes. There will be eight classes offered over the course of six days the week of April 19. It is an excellent way to get a jump-start on planting some of your deck planters while soaking in the spring beauty that surrounds The Green House during this time of year.
If you have class ideas or would love to teach a class, please contact me. I am always looking for additional classes to offer, but most importantly, I am always looking for community members to teach classes. It is a fun way to share a hobby with others in a laid-back environment. Think about it and then give me a call. I look forward to hearing from you!
