Evelyn Marian Hawkinson

Evelyn Marian Hawkinson, 90, passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2021 in Cloquet, MN. Evelyn was born August 18, 1930 in Esko. Evelyn married George Hawkinson on June 3, 1950 and had two children, Craig and Randy Hawkinson.

Evelyn was a homemaker that loved everyone around her—and to know her was to love her. She enjoyed showing this love by sharing her amazing cooking and home with her friends and family. She loved to laugh and spend time with her loved ones. Most of all, Evelyn loved her husband, George, who was her best friend and the love of her life. Evelyn was deeply loved by him and deeply loved by anyone that had the privilege of knowing her—she was a gift to those in her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her sons; and her brothers, Erven Marvin, and Duane; and her sisters, Mildred and Mabel.

Evelyn is survived by her brother, Edward; grandchildren, Beau Hawkinson and Megan Hawkinson; and many loved nephews, nieces, and extended family.

Funeral services will be held in her honor at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 16, 2021 in the Atkins-Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th Street, Cloquet. Private interment will be New Calvary Cemetery, Cloquet. Masks and social distancing are required. From the funeral home parking lot the funeral can be heard on FM 98.3.
