Adrian Paul Badger

Adrian Paul Badger, 82, formerly of Hoquiam, WA and Wright, died on Saturday January 5, 2019 at Inter-Faith Care Center with family by his side. He was born on May 20, 1936 in Cloquet to Darell and Mae (Beseman) Badger. Adrian graduated from Cloquet High School and enlisted in the US Army serving his country 1955-58. Adrian moved his family from Cloquet, MN to Hoquiam, WA in 1967. He was stationed at Fort Lewis in Tacoma, WA and was drawn to the outdoor recreation. Adrian was a lifelong outdoorsman hunting and fishing his whole life. He enjoyed fishing trips in Alaska and deer hunting in Wright. After he retired, he returned to the place he loved more than any place in the world, the Beseman Family homestead in Wright, MN.

Adrian worked at N.W. Paper for ten years before moving to Washington where he retired from Cascade Natural Gas Company in Aberdeen, WA after 32 years. He was a member of the Elks Club and VFW in Hoquiam, WA, Tamarack Sportsman Club, Hasbeens Pool Team in Wright, and the McGregor Bowling league. Adrian helped people with disabilities building birdhouses and was active in the Wright Senior Citizens Community Center, Wednesday card games and the Hoquiam Knights of Columbus.

Adrian was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Rhonda Badger and sister, Mary Ann Laajala. Survivors include his children, Rene (Jim) Olson; Doug Badger; brothers, Clarence (Patty); Quentin (Eunice), and Phillip (Debbie) White; his form spouse, Joan (Vince) Johnson and longtime friend, Roberta Osborne and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass will be held 11:00 am Friday, January 11, 2019 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Cromwell. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the church.
