Robert Edward Bader, 85, of Cloquet, died Monday, August 27, 2018 in Augustana Health Care Center, Moose Lake. He was born July 17, 1933 in Linton, ND, the son of George and Lucille Bader. Bob served in the US Army. He married Grace Hobbs on January 1, 1976.

Bob had been employed by Conwed and then worked as the transportation director for Cloquet Transit and LCS Coaches. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time at Mille Lacs Lake. During his retirement, Bob enjoyed having morning coffee at McDonalds with the "boys".

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Lucille; an infant son, Lydell; and a brother, Leo Bader.

A loving husband, father and grandfather, Bob is survived by his wife, Grace; sons, Dean (Evelyn) of Wrenshall and Ryan (Janet) of Carlton; step-daughters, Gracelyn (Ted) Graham of Loxahatchee, FL and Karen (Paul) Padgett of Cloquet; sisters, Eleanor Sukola of Cambridge and Shirley (Harold) Rierson of Rosebud, MT; eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 1 - 3 p.m., Saturday, September 15, 2018 in Atkins-Northland Funeral Home Fireside Room, 801 14th Street, Cloquet.
