The state of Minnesota is opening a community COVID-19 vaccination site Monday at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center.
People who pre-registered for the CVP are being randomly selected to make appointments at the DECC. New pre-registrations are not being accepted at this time. More information can be found at mn.gov/covid19/vaccine/find-vaccine/community-vaccination-program/index.jsp .
People in the following groups are currently eligible to make appointments for the COVID-19 vaccine through the Community Vaccination Program as supplies allow:
- Minnesotans ages 65 and over.
- Pre-K-12 educators.
- Child care workers.
Those who are signed up for the state’s 65-and-over vaccine registration list and have not been notified that they were selected for an appointment will remain on the list and will continue to have the opportunity to be randomly selected in the future. There will also be additional opportunities to register.

Educators and child care workers should not attempt to make an appointment unless they are notified by their employer that they've been selected to receive a vaccine. Child care programs and schools will work directly with employees to get an appointment through the state-sponsored appointment scheduling portal.
Vault Health is a vendor on the Duluth and Minneapolis CVP sites. An additional site will launch in southern Minnesota next week and additional locations may be launched in the future. This program will continue indefinitely.

Those who received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine on Feb. 4 or later at one of the CVP sites will receive communications from Vault Health.
