Carlton County hosts COVID-19 vaccine clinic

The free event will be held on Wednesday.

Carlton County and the state of Minnesota will host a free COVID-19 vaccine clinic on Wednesday, Sept. 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Carlton County Community Services Building, 14 N. 11th St., Cloquet.

Community members age 12 and older will be able to receive a dose of either the Pfizer vaccine or the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. The Pfizer vaccine requires two doses, while the Johnson & Johnson vaccine requires only one. Booster doses are not available at this time.

Registration is not required, however, officials highly recommend it to guarantee a dose. Walk-ins will be accepted the day of the event.

Masks are required in the clinic.
