The Minnesota Twins, in conjunction with the Minnesota News Network, announces WMOZ-FM (106.9) will begin carrying games as part of the Twins Radio Network beginning next season.

"The Minnesota Twins are thrilled to have this opportunity to partner with WMOZ," said Twins President Dave St. Peter. "As a member of the Twins Radio Network, WMOZ will provide access to Twins baseball for our great fans across the region."

"We look forward to becoming a part of the Twins Radio Network and providing listeners with the opportunity to hear Twins baseball on the radio in and around Moose Lake starting with the 2007 season," said Mark Senarighi, general manager of WMOZ.

WMOZ will be one of 69 stations on the Twins Radio Network in 2007 and beyond. The Twins Radio Network, one of the largest networks in all of Major League Baseball, includes stations across Minnesota, the Dakotas, northern Iowa, and western Wisconsin.

Twins baseball is distributed via the Twins Radio Network in cooperation with the Minnesota News Network. The Minnesota News Network (MNN) is a division Saga Communications. In addition to MNN, the company owns and operates The Minnesota Farm Network, Illinois Radio Network, Michigan Farm Radio Network, and the Michigan Radio Network. MNN has provided regional news, sports, farm and feature programming to Minnesota's commercial radio stations since 1982. MNN has delivered Minnesota Twins baseball broadcasts to radio stations throughout the Upper Midwest for nearly 20 years.
