The Carlton County Historical Society will hold a programfor its newest exhibit, "Click: A Snapshot of Photography in Carlton County" on Thursday, Sept. 2 at 6 p.m. at the CCHS museum, 406 Cloquet Avenue, in Cloquet.
The program features Marlene Wisuri, former director of the CCHS, presenting a slide program on Octavie Morneau, a Cloquet photographer from the early 1900s. Many historic photographs in the "Click" exhibit were taken in Octavie Morneau's studio in Cloquet.
In Wisuri's program, learn more about the personal and professional life of one of the area's most renowned female artists.
The exhibit program is free and open to the public. The museum is handicapped accessible. Light refreshments will be served. Everyone is welcome.
