A cold front is moving through the region Wednesday and it is bringing colder temperatures in the 30s, a brisk breeze from the northwest at 10-20 mph and a lot more cloud cover. Some of those clouds will give way to snowflakes and flurries falling, especially farther north, but this is not a major snow system, just a nuisance on this big travel day. The sunshine will make more of an appearance for Thanksgiving but it is going to be a chilly Thursday with highs struggling to hit 20 degrees with a biting wind. Black Friday will be a little warmer with temperatures warming back into the mid-20s and low 30s return for the weekend.
