A warm front sweeping the region from the south has led to a much milder morning with temps heading out the door ranging from upper 40s to low 60s across the Northland. The warmth continues throughout the day with highs reaching the upper 70s from the Brainerd Lakes Area to the Twin Ports and across Northwest Wisconsin. This area will also see the strongest gusts from southwest winds behind the front. Tuesday afternoon and evening we turn our attention to a cold front moving in that will keep highs near International Falls closer to the upper 60s. The cold front knocks highs back into the mid-50s and mid-60s Wednesday with a breezy northwest wind. We'll be back in frost/freeze territory Thursday morning with widespread 30s. Mid-20s will be possible in our typical cool spots.
