Tuesday: Temperatures remain on the chilly side throughout the afternoon with highs in the low to mid-50s. Temperatures once again plummet overnight, this time resulting in a freeze watch for the Arrowhead Region away from Lake Superior until 8 a.m. Wednesday. Lows in isolated areas may dip below 30 degrees. The North Shore, East Central Minnesota, and Northwest Wisconsin will drop into the mid 30s with areas of frost possible. Cover those plants. An area of high pressure deflects rain chances to our south Tuesday and Wednesday with Rhinelander, Wis., on the northern edge of accumulation.
Wednesday: Temperatures remain well below average Wednesday with more 50s for highs and 30s overnight into Thursday, before we trend back to low and mid-60s.
Thursday: Mostly sunny. High 64. W wind 5-10 mph.
