Your forecast For today: After a record high of 89 degrees was set Tuesday, temperatures will again stay on the very warm and humid side today along with plenty of sunshine. I don’t think temperatures will get quite as hot as Tuesday, but we should still top out around 84 this afternoon. Winds along the shoreline of Lake Superior will provide a little relief with 60s and 70s right by the lake.
Tonight: Clear skies this evening will lead to partly cloudy skies overnight with a mild and muggy overnight low of 62.
Tomorrow: A cold front moving into our warm and humid air mass will spark off a couple rounds of thunderstorms through the day Thursday. Some of these storms could be on the strong to severe side with strong winds and large hail the main concerns. Temperatures will top out near 78 with the clouds and storms around.
Friday will bring a break from the storms with mid-70s in the forecast before another chance of showers and storms and slightly cooler temperatures move in for the weekend.
