Friday: The morning should start off as mainly rain showers, but as temperatures drop quickly into the low 30s by the afternoon the rain will switch to freezing rain, sleet, and then eventually snow by afternoon and evening. We will go with a morning high around 36 degrees but temperatures will drop throughout the day. Accumulations will be light, but a winter weather advisory is in place until 4 p.m. for some slick travel conditions expected.
Friday night: Snow showers will continue early in the evening and gradually taper off overnight under mostly cloudy skies and a low temperature near 19.
Saturday: An area of high pressure builds in quickly behind Friday’s system and will bring the return of sunshine and mild temperatures on our Saturday. We will start off a bit chilly in the teens Saturday morning but will warm up to a high near 44.
Sunday: Sunday will be even milder with temperatures nearing 50, but clouds will increase with a chance of showers Sunday night and continuing into early next week.
