Wednesday: Mostly cloudy skies and increasing clouds will lead to just a slim chance of a stray shower by late afternoon and evening with a high near 40 degrees.
Wednesday night: Rain chances will tick up just a notch overnight under overcast skies. Any rain that falls should be light and fairly hit or miss with a low near 33.
Thursday: We catch a brief break from the rain showers in the morning, but overcast skies will stick around with a round of steady rain returning by the afternoon and evening with a high near 42.
Steady rainfall should continue Thursday night into Friday as a cold front slowly moves through the area. We could see enough cold air on the backside of the system Friday to bring some light snow, but the biggest concern will be some minor flooding of rivers and low-lying areas by Friday.
