Friday: Enjoy the sunshine and above-average temperatures with an afternoon high topping out near 46 degrees before the weekend system arrives.

Friday night: We will see increasing clouds ahead of the weekend system with mostly cloudy skies expected and an overnight low near 32.

Saturday: Overcast skies with rain showers will start off our Saturday, but as colder air begins to mix in during the afternoon we will see snow begin to mix in with rain at times. Some areas of Northwest Wisconsin could pick up around an inch of rain throughout the storm and may lead to some minor flood concerns. Temperatures will struggle to reach a high near 42 degrees with very strong northeast winds gusting up to 35 mph.

Our strong spring storm system looks to bring enough cold air on Saturday night to switch things over to mostly snow and some may be heavy at times. A winter storm watch is active for much of the region from 4 p.m. Saturday through 10 a.m. Sunday where localized areas of 3-6 inches of wet snow is possible. Anything that falls will melt quickly with temperatures near 50 by Monday.
