Your forecast for today: Today will be a great chance to get any last-minute leaf peeping in or to get some yard work done before temperatures plunge this weekend. We will start out with some sunshine this morning with a few increasing clouds this afternoon. Winds will be breezy out of the southeast with gusts up to 30 mph at times with a mild afternoon high near 68 degrees.
Tonight: Increasing clouds will lead to mostly cloudy and overcast skies overnight tonight, but we should stay dry and mild with an overnight low near 50 degrees.
Tomorrow: A cold front will slowly begin marching its way across the region on Thursday with rain showers moving into the region from the west. By the afternoon much of the Northland will be dealing with widespread rainfall and temperatures climbing to near 58 degrees. Winds will stay on the breezy side gusting out of the southeast at 30 mph.
A strong system will continue to bring rainfall to the area on Friday with enough cold air moving in by the weekend to create the chance for some snow. Some accumulation is possible, but if anything does accumulate it should be on the lighter side.
