Your forecast for today: We are looking at a warm and stormy forecast for today as a warm front begins to push into the area from the south. This frontal boundary will be the focus of scattered showers and thunderstorms beginning late this morning and continuing into the afternoon hours. There is the potential for some strong to severe storms with large hail, gusty winds, and heavy rain. Temperatures will be on the warm side with a high near 78 degrees, but it will be cooler by the lake thanks to a southeast wind at 2-8 mph.
Tonight: A few showers and thunderstorms will linger early this evening, but they will taper off quickly. We can expect partly cloudy skies overnight with a warm and humid overnight low of 58 degrees.
Tomorrow: We should get a chance to dry out a little bit on Friday under partly cloudy skies and just a slim chance of a passing afternoon thunderstorm. High temperatures will top out near 79 degrees on top of the hill, but we will once again be cooler by the lake thanks to a light lake breeze.
