Jerald Volkert of Carlton won the Dec. 24 Northstar Cash jackpot worth $147,440. He claimed the prize at the lottery's headquarters in Roseville, Minn., on Dec. 29.
The third line on Volkert's five-line quick-pick ticket matched all five Northstar Cash numbers drawn on Dec. 24 (3-8-22-26-27).
Tall Pines Liquor, located at 1650 Highway 210, Carlton, sold the winning ticket.
