State Representative Bill and Laurie Hilty and Judy and Lauri Isaacson of rural Finlayson are hosting a town hall meeting with Jack Nelson-Pallmeyer, Associate Professor of Peace and Justice Studies at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, in Rutledge at the Community Center.
Nelson-Pallmeyer will lead a discussion of the situation in the Middle East and Iraq and the challenges we face in addressing global warming, and how we can deal with our energy issues in ways that will create a better society for us all.
This important community discussion is free and open to the public.
